I have frequently received feedback that I tend to overanalyze situations, strive to resolve every issue, and that my style is distinctly my own. I have decided to view these observations as strengths. Many of my most innovative ideas come to me around 3am. With my twins recently starting school, I now have the opportunity to translate these ideas into tangible outcomes.
Fundraising T-shirt tatts
Been there, done that, but didn't want yet another t-shirt...
As a keen new social sec of the BEC I was thinking how we could sell more t-shirts and raise funds for the club.
Personally I didn't want another t-shirt and I didn't want to spend too much (my budget is on booze not more clothes).
I wanted something small that commemorated an event and that made use of the official t-shirts so we could shift the stock of them. Something permanent like a tattoo...
T-shirt tatts were created.
A trail run at the Wessex Challenge was a success. I sold DTF transfers that I printed onto peoples apparel with my new investment, a heat press machine.
Such a good idea, that I enjoyed doing... and as a business I can do this for all clubs! Many people are members of several clubs so will enjoy collecting them all...
So here we are. Please contact me for your next up coming event. I can design and create a t-shirt tatt for your members to collect.
Just one t-shirt will advertise all the fun stuff that the club does. Event T-shirt tatts are fun and affordable so can be sold to fund raise at every event!

Cavers love talking about caving...
And if we want to do a trip it is best to find someone who has done it before to show you the way!
T-shirt tatts that show what caves and trips have been accomplished is a great way to show off but also help others access the caves.
Personally, to remember where I have been a collection on my clothes would be most useful...
Display your accomplishments like a decorated solder (or kid Scout) ...

Sew on T-shirt tatts

Back in the day I collected a few event t-shirts. But I have changed shape so no longer fit them!
Therefore I am also working on sew on t-shirt tatts that can be relocated as required.
I plan to use sublimation onto polyester patches that will have easy to follow stitching instructions and tools. Sublimation only works on light coloured polyester, so isn't suitable for heat pressed transfers, but will last longer. These patches are for life and all the shapes you take during it.

Caving games
I was challenged to create a game one day by a friend. I couldn't let it go so actually came up with a few.
I sent my first game to my caving friends as a Christmas present. Then I made another for a Christmas dinner.
There should be more caving related board games available.
Here is one so far called SUMPS and LADDERS.
Paper gets scrunched, ripped and falls apart when wet. All this is very likely during a caving weekend so these are printed onto material. Little bags are also very handy so it's a game bag.
The squares are also conveniently sized so bottle tops can be used as counters. And no dice is needed, just flip a coin or something. A great way to relax after a hard caving trip or to pass the time while others faff before a trip...
